Ingredient weights come from USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy household measures) and King Arthur Baking's ingredient weight chart, checked September 2026. Unit conversions use exact legal definitions: a US cup is 236.5882365 ml, a metric cup 250 ml, an ounce 28.349523125 g.

Every ingredient page links the exact reference it relies on. If an ingredient has no published reference, the page says so and labels the figure as an estimate.

How pages are written

Guides are written for people in the middle of a recipe: the answer first, then what changes it. The team writes and edits every guide; figures quoted in the text are tested against the same data table the converters use, so a changed density cannot leave a stale number behind.

We do not publish pages that only swap a number into a template. In September 2026 about 650 such pages were retired and redirected to the page that answers the question in full.

Advertising and affiliate links

Ads are served by Google AdSense, labelled "Advertisement" and kept visually separate from the content. Amazon links are affiliate links and are disclosed on every page that carries them. Neither affects which figures or products a page shows.

Updates and corrections

Pages show the month they were last meaningfully revised. Reader corrections sent to support@dixonappstudio.com are checked against the published references and, if they hold up, fixed site-wide.
